10:00 am: Meet of falconers and spectators and departure to the hunting grounds
05:00 pm: End of hunting and „Streckelegen“ in the hunting grounds
07:00 pm: Offical opening, Greetings of official guests and lecture of Dr. Janosch Arnold (Leiter des FVA Wildtierinstitut)
Friday, 23.10.2026
Only Thursday and Saturday are hunting days.
On Friday you can take part in many different activities:
10:30 am: Guided tour of Karlsruhe Zoo (registration required)
From 10:00 am to 12:00 am:
- Lecture about population of wild rabbits (Dr. Johanna Arnold - Wildforschungsstelle Aulendorf),
- Toxic analysis in birds of prey (Landesanstalt für Umwelt Baden-Württemberg),
- Conservation and promotion of game (Benjamin Gut)
01:00 pm: Guided tour of preparator workshop and collection in the State Museum of Natural History Karlsruhe (registration required)
02:00 – 05:00 pm: Seminar about training of and hunting with sparrow hawks
07:00 pm: Meeting of DFO-Members only
Saturday, 24.10.2026
10:00 am: Meet of falconers and spectators and departure to the hunting grounds
04:00 pm: End of hunting
06:00 pm: „Streckelegen“ in front of the hotel
08:00 pm: Gala Dinner „Grüner Abend“
